I’m a sound designer with drive, determination and dedication; creating the best possible audio experience for the listener is the overarching goal I strive for when working on a project.
I find the process of tailoring audio sources into rich and immersive soundscapes for games, visual media and VR experiences to be a rewarding, exciting and continuously-inspiring craft.
I enjoy creating high-quality audio assets from my own field recordings, and then using digital signal processing and mixing & mastering techniques to build this raw material into platform-appropriate deliverables in accordance with the specifications of my clients.
My particular focus is technical audio implementation; I absolutely love digging into the nuts and bolts of game engines in order to design the optimal audio solution for the situation in hand. Whether that’s writing C# scripts in Unity, wrangling with spaghetti strings of blueprints in Unreal Engine or utilising the extended suite of tools in Wwise or FMOD, I’m always keen to get hands-on with gameplay systems in order to deliver an audio treatment that’s both mechanically and creatively satisfying.
